The best-case scenario can result in lost production time and material costs but at worst your staff could receive life-changing injuries or even suffer a fatality! 

Catching problems early starts with your staff. After all, they use the equipment regularly and are in the best position to spot any potential issues. One of the problems with racking is that, it will inevitably be subjected to knocks, bumps, wear and tear. However, if minor damage remains unchecked, it can potentially develop into a far more serious issue.

To improve the safety of your warehouse, your employees need to be ‘racking aware’ so they can identify damage and know how to undertaken regular inspections of your equipment.

This is where our Rack Safety Awareness course (RSA Training) can help. Referenced in HSG76, this course provides your staff with the essential training, knowledge, and skills they need to carry out their duties safely. It covers the safe operation of racking systems, load notices, industry guidance, in-house rack inspectors, and more.

Who Should Attend The RSA Training Course

A nominated, Person Responsible for Rack Safety (PRRS) to suit the operating conditions of the warehouse. The RSA training course is for the routine, regular inspection of your own company’s racking.

Please note if you have Cantilever racking at your premises, we have a separate course for this.
