Cantilever Racking Safety Awareness

Cantilever Rack Safety Awareness

Have you considered how critical racking safety is for protecting your employees? Picture the potential outcome of a racking collapse—tons of inventory crashing down. At best, this could lead to halted production and increased material expenses; at worst, your staff could face serious, life-altering injuries or even fatalities.

The first line of defense against such incidents is your staff. They work with the equipment daily, making them the best resource for spotting potential hazards early. Racking systems, by their nature, are exposed to impacts, bumps, and general wear and tear. If minor damage goes unnoticed, it can escalate into a major safety risk.

Enhancing warehouse safety starts with ensuring your employees are 'racking aware'—trained to recognize damage and conduct routine equipment inspections effectively.

Our Cantilever Rack Safety Awareness (CRSA) course is designed to meet this need. Referenced in HSG76, this training equips your team with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties safely. The course covers safe operation practices for racking systems, understanding load notices, following industry guidance, training in-house rack inspectors, and more.

Who Should Attend The CRSA Training Course

A nominated, Person Responsible for Rack Safety (PRRS) to suit the operating conditions of the warehouse. The CRSA training course is for the routine, regular inspection of your own company’s racking.
