SARI Training

To achieve the required standard, individuals must pass an intensive four-day training course, written examinations and practical assessment. Once qualified, the inspector must also commit to a programme of ongoing CPD (Continuing Professional Development) to maintain the qualification.

Applicants should ideally be qualified to HNC/HND level in an engineering related subject and have two to three years related experience. We will consider applicants with higher-level qualifications and/or extensive industry-related experience based on their individual merits.

Applicants interested in attending SARI training must be fluent in English, meaning they should understand both spoken and written English and be able to speak and write in English.

The pre-qualification for this course is the SEMA Rack Safety Awareness course.  It is mandatory that delegates attend this before attending the SARI course.

To apply for this course, each applicant must complete an Online Assessment (see below). This will assess the individual's current eligibility to attend.

Course Fees

The cost of the course is £2,000 + VAT (this price includes a non-refundable booking fee of £250 + VAT).

Please note, to complete your SARI qualification you will need to complete Part 2 of the course which is charged at £2,500 + VAT (this price includes a non-refundable booking fee of £250 + VAT)

Qualification Upgrades

Upon successfully qualifying, the inspector will need to undertake Part 2 of the course to earn their SEMA Approved Rack Inspector (SARI) qualification.

Annual Subscription

There is an annual subscription of £830*+VAT to maintain this professional qualification. This will be used to cover the annual SARI Seminar, management and administrative procedures, and a SEMA Web Site Listing.

SEMA Approved Racking Inspector Course Application: Online Assessment

This Assessment should only be completed by the person who will be attending the course.

SEMA Approved Racking Inspectors (SARI’s) are highly qualified professionals. Their day job is to complete the SEMA circle of quality by undertaking racking and storage systems inspections at end-users’ premises.

Applicants who are interested in attending this course must be fluent in English e.g. being able to understand, speak, and write in English, otherwise, unfortunately, they will not be able to attend the course.

The outcome of this online assessment should not be used as an indicator to the likelihood of success in the SARI course.
