This higher level one-day SEIRS Installation Manager course covers all relevant legislation and other aspects which affect safe working whilst installing pallet racking storage equipment. It highlights the need for risk assessments and method statements within the working environment, the implementation of necessary control measures, and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture among the workforce.
At the end of the training successful delegates should have sufficient knowledge to enable them to work safely on storage construction sites. It will provide those managing the site activities of racking installations, with the skills and knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation.
This is supported by many other learning tools to provide additional skill sets to the manager incorporating the latest and best practices.

Who – Site Managers who are overseeing storage installation projects, assessing and training assembly teams, site surveys and assembly timing, project plans, racking final inspection and sign off.

Course Pre-Qualifications
The pre-qualification for this course is successful completion of the CITB Health Safety and Environment Test for Managers & Professionals (MAPS). This test is conducted independently of SEIRS by the CITB at one of its test centres across the UK.
Please note: Delegates must be competent in English at manager level in order to complete this course.
What Happens After?
To pass the course, delegates must achieve a score of at least 80% on the final test. After successful completion, the supervisor will receive a SEIRS Installation Manager card.
