SEMA Rack Safety Awareness Course
Rack safety inspections are required to prevent and minimise the effects of accidents, to comply with the requirements of PUWER and to promote safety in the workplace.
Who should attend this course?
The RSA course is for the routine, regular inspection of your own company’s racking.
Please note if you have Cantilever racking at your premises, we have a separate course for this.
Course Content
The end-user needs to appoint a Person Responsible for Racking Safety (PRRS) who is suitably qualified and experienced. Their role is to take responsibility for daily and weekly inspections. SEMA’s Rack Safety Awareness course provides delegates with advice and guidance to enable them to carry out basic rack inspections in accordance with SEMA guidelines.
Two key questions answered are: How often should my racking be inspected? and what are my responsibilities? It also offers advice on how to comply with the law, conducting risk assessments, recording an inspection, reporting damage levels and action points.
A course certificate and course notes will be provided on the day, as well as a packed lunch.
Course Duration
The course, which is a one day, classroom-based course at our premises in Burntwood, Staffordshire, starting at 9.00am and finishing around 3.30pm.

The cost per delegate is £232.00 + VAT.
