British Materials Handling Federation
BMHF
The British Materials Handling Federation (BMHF) is the British National Committee of the Federation Européenne de la Manutention (FEM). Their role is to facilitate representation for Member Associations on a European level. With the materials handling industry’s position as a global business, representation at a European level is incredibly important.
BMHF collectively represents over 400 companies with an excess of 25,000 employees and operating in an industry with a total turnover exceeding £3.5 billion.
Membership of the British Materials Handling Federation is open to British Trade Associations. Member companies engage in the design, manufacture or supply of materials handling equipment and, through their membership with BMHF, they are entitled to represent the appropriate materials handling product groups of the FEM.
