Archived document: Code of Practice for the Design of High Rise Static Steel Shelving (1982)

This code refers to hand loaded shelving which by virtue of its height, or the difficulty of proving the design by type testing, is not covered by the Code of Practice for the Design of Low Rise Static Steel Shelving. It applies to hand loaded shelving in single tier construction made from cold formed or hot rolled steel with bolted and adjustable shelving where order picking equipment may be used to carry out input/output operations.
