It has been common practice for a. number of years now in the storage and materials handling industry to use chipboard as a walkway between multi-tier racks and as a decking on rack platforms and the like. This guideline, which is based on Swedish and Norwegian methods of use for structural chipboard, is the basis of the SEMA guideline for the design of floor decking.
