The new video is available at SEMA’s new website which is now more accessible and informative. http://www.sema.org.uk has undergone a fresh look and offers improved architecture and navigation.
SAIC companies manage storage installation projects and must have all their installers SEIRS registered and must also have an appropriate number of installers who are qualified to SEIRS supervisory level. (SEIRS is the Storage Equipment Installers’ Registration Scheme for individual installers.)
The SAIC initiative is for professional storage equipment installation companies who are keen to develop safety standards and take a proactive approach to the development of this sector of the industry.
SAIC member companies are rigorously audited by SEMA on operational Health & Safety and other criteria and issued with a certificate annually. Look out for the logo on SAIC member websites, certificates and other company marketing materials as a measure of quality standards.
SEMA is the British Trade Association of the Storage Equipment Industry. It is committed to promoting and extending the safe design, installation and use of storage equipment manufactured and supplied by its members.
